With these silhouettes we are trying to get some sense of what a retired superhero may look like by sketching out different body sizes and poses. If there are any that strike you as fitting Batman, please let us know.

We decided it would be a good idea for us to try out some outfits for Moom using Photoshop before taking anything into Maya. We're trying to make each of the characters instantly recognisable, without having to change the model completely or edit it too much. We haven't yet decided whether we'll be taking any of these further, but it's at least a good way to visualise the final outcome on Moom.

Flash Set – A plain staircase with carpeted floor. A boring-looking colour on the wall behind his stairlift, lined with framed posters of him in his hay-day all the way up. Possibly a hallway at both the top and bottom of the stairs? Slippers neatly placed together at the foot of the stairs on carpeted floor. Batman Set – Plain background during the fast sequence (maybe a room in the background but heavily blurred?) And a normal-looking garage from the outside, on a small road (maybe a cul-de-sac?) Hulk Set – Top-down of a huge multi-lane highway, packed full of cars. Hulks’ car interior looks quite boring, maybe with a plush toy of the Hulk instead of dice on his rear-view mirror to let viewers know who they’re looking at Superman Set – Flat land in front of the camera, leading to some trees and multiple tall buildings on the horizon, which Superman will be behind when he’s attempting to fly. When he crashes, he will land on the flat land and skid towards the camera....

New ideas Here are some new ideas we got as we went back to our brief tittle 'Forgotten/Failed Superheroes'. We decide to look at known/popular superheroes and what they'd be doing once there old and no longer fit to be superheroes.  1. Old man Hulk gets angry at a kid playing on his lawn.  2. Old man Hulk gets angry trying to use the self service at the supermarket.  3. Hulk gets angry at the movie theater when someone is constantly eating crisps.  4. The Hulk is stuck in traffic.  5. Elderly Superman struggles to fly.  6. Superheroes in their old age playing bingo in a nursing home.  7. The Flash uses an extremely slow chair lift.  8. Old Batman Prepares his utility bet.

This is the updated version of our 3-Panel Comic. Scene descriptions have been added and the panels have been coloured to help give a better idea of our plans.

As a group, we've decided to make our animation feature a number of Superheroes, broken up into sections. We're also toying with the idea of the man/woman with super speed to make a cameo in another heroes' section, running past quickly in the background. 10. Juggler - A woman with super strength but only uses it to juggle (most likely famous landmarks such as Big Ben, Pyramids and the Eiffel Tower) 16. Man whose hair grows quickly/instantly - A man whose body is fully covered by his head hair and, when he gets it shaved off, new hair suddenly shoots straight upwards and falls back around him 22. Immortal Dummy - Someone whose body instantly regenerates, rendering them practically immortal, but chooses to only use their power to work as a crash test dummy 23. Man who can read minds - A man who can read minds but must stare intensely at the subject with two fingers on each of his temples to do so, causing most of his mind reading subjects to be freaked out, leading ...
