  1. FYI on posting etiquette - An @Alan but no description of what this post is about? First of all, what do you want me to say/ think about this post? Secondly, what do you want the 'public' to think about this post. Remember your blog is a public focusing showcase of your work. Not everyone knows what you know about your project - communicate more.

    1. Sorry! We just wanted your thoughts on whether we're along the right lines in terms of influence for the Batman scene, and if you think the Influence Maps are presented well, or should be improved in some way. I'll be sure to remember to add a description next time. Apologies.

    2. One piece of 'adjacent' feedback which would help you frame what your doing it to think of everything as a page in a book (your making of document). So the format you've chosen above doesn't help you with that (long / tall etc). Nor does it help you with your blog post (lots of wasted space). Eventually, in future projects you're going to be publishing your work (actually printing out a book) which mean dealing with desktop publishing. What I'd suggest is working towards that goal now...I'll put a couple of links below to sites where you can make and print your own books (used by 3rd years). Not that I want you to print anything now but look at the proportions of the page (landscape). If you get into the habit of working to that format now you'll benefit / be ready for future projects. Basically, think about maximizing your use of the page (width of screen) and of course....write about your work like its a page in a book (like a caption).

In terms of content, yes the images you've chosen seem fine. However, don't forget its a retired persons home and there is 'extra' jokes to be had by seeing whats in the background of the garage. A retired person with a mobility scooter may not have a bike for example. He may have bat versions of more common things you would fine in a older persons garage - Bat-hose (for watering the lawn) etc. Also, the light in Florida (common retirement place) is very distinct, sunny and bright so remember to capture that. Its very important because Batman has retired and left the darkness of Gotham for the sun of Florida. With that said...would a retired Batman still go out at night? Possibly, that depends upon your ending for the short (if you get all the characters together for a final shot for example and the other two skits take place during the day), if not night time is an option.
